This limited edition photo book is by Cafe Royal Books, an award-winning publisher of documentary photography.
Created by Craig Atkinson, a photographer and Fine Art and Illustration lecturer, the photo books are collected by MoMa, The Tate, the British Library, the Glasgow School of Art, the Martin Parr Foundation and the V&A, to name a few. Craig’s clients include the New York Times, Dazed, Orange, GQ and the Royal Photographic Society.
Craig explains ‘My aim is to create a focussed and complete archive of British documentary photography. I publish roughly 70 titles each year with a small edition ‘archive box’ every 100th title. These archive boxes are aimed at major collections, libraries and museums — helping to increase the visibility of the work and making the books publicly accessible for as long as possible.
